Political parties funding source unknown why?

Heavy income, 69% share from unknown sources is right?

The time come now that the political parties brought under Income Tax arena. Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi had beeb say about the transparency of parties funding. The total income of national and regional political parties between 2004-05 and 2014-15 stood at ?11,367 crore, with the highest of ?3,982 crore being the Congress’s share. However, 69% of the income of these parties was from unknown sources, according to an analysis done by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR).
The income of national parties from unknown sources increased by 313% during the decade; for the regional parties, it went up by 652%. The BSP is the only party which has got 100% of its income through donations from unknown sources. Its total income increased by 2,057%, from ?5.19 crore during 2004-05 to ?111.96 crore during 2014-15.
The ADR report, released on Tuesday, states that the details of donors pertaining only to ?1,835.63 crore were available. The income from other known sources, such as the sale of assets, membership fees, bank interest, the sale of publications and party levy, was ?1,698.73 crore, about 15% of the total.
While about 43% of the total income of six national parties was that of the Congress, the BJP stood second with ?3,272.63 crore, just over 35%. The CPI(M) declared the third highest income of about ?893 crore. “About 83% of the total income of the Congress, amounting to ?3,323.39 crore, and 65% of total income of the BJP, amounting to ?2,125.91 crore, came from unknown sources.”
The total donations above ?20,000 per entry, for which the national parties are to declare the sources, was about ?1405.19 crore and the BJP topped the list for declaring the maximum of ?918 crore voluntary contributions in the category. “The donations declared by the BJP are more than twice the donations declared by the Congress during the same period,” said the report. The BSP has not reported any donation above ?20,000 in the past 11 years, while the Nationalist Congress Party has not submitted its donations report to the Election Commission between 2004-05 and 2006-07. The Congress has declared donations of ?400.32 crore.
According to the ADR, the Income-Tax returns of 42 of the 51 regional parties analysed were unavailable for at least one financial year. The total declared income of regional parties during the period stood at ?2,089 crore, the highest being that of the Samajwadi Party at ?819 crore, followed by the DMK with ?203 crore and the AIADMK with ?165 crore.
Based on the findings, the ADR has recommended that full details of all donors be made available for public scrutiny under the RTI.
“Some countries where this is done include Bhutan, Nepal, Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, Bulgaria, the United States and Japan. In none of these countries it it possible for almost 75% of the source of funds to be unknown, but at present it is so in India,” said the report, adding any organisation that receives foreign funding should not be allowed to support or campaign for any candidate or political party.

"Indian Pm Mr.Modi is great Man"

I am big fan of Hindu,Trump tells Modi

In telephonic conversation New American President Mr. Donald Trump praies Indian Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. He also said,” I am big fan of Hindu. The U.S. considers India as “a true friend and a partner in addressing challenges around the world,” President Donald Trump told Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday afternoon. “The two discussed opportunities to strengthen the partnership between the United States and India in broad areas such as the economy and defence,” a statement from the White House said. It said Mr. Trump looked forward to hosting Mr. Modi later this year.“They also discussed security in the region of South and Central Asia. President Trump and Prime Minister Modi resolved that the United States and India stand shoulder-to-shoulder in the global fight against terrorism,” said the statement. Addressing an event organised by the Republican Hindu Coalition in October last, Mr. Trump had said that he “looked forward to working with Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” whom he described as “very energetic in reforming India’s bureaucracy.”
“Great man. I applaud him for doing so.” Mr. Trump had said. Describing himself as a “big fan of Hindu….a big fan of India”, he had then said that “the Indian and Hindu community would have a true friend in the White House,”

Who is the next leader of World?

After US. china.Russa or Germany

This question is now raising in the world forum that after US, Who is next leader.President Donald Trump's pursuit of an "America first'' foreign policy is raising questions about who, if anyone, will fill the void if the US relinquishes its traditional global leadership role. China and Russia are among the aspirants for greater economic and military influence, while an ambivalent Germany could emerge as the West's moral compass.
For generations, the US has largely set the terms for the global economy, policed international security threats and spearheaded the response to crises like Ebola and Haiti's earthquake. But after sweeping into office with an isolationist-tinged message rooted in the idea the US needs to refocus on itself, Trump has said and done little to dispel the notion that he wants the rest of the world solve its own problems.
n his inaugural address, Trump said the US for too long has been invested in other countries' industries, militaries, borders and infrastructure while letting its own fall into ``disrepair and decay.''``That is the past,'' Trump said.In one of his first acts, Trump on Monday formally withdrew the US from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a project launched under President George W. Bush and negotiated by President Barack Obama to set trade rules with Asia and counter China's growing economic influence.
rump said he was doing a ``great thing'' for US workers by tearing it up. But Sen. John McCain, a fellow Republican, said the withdrawal ``abdicates US leadership in Asia to China.''China isn't the only country that could profit from US retrenchment. In their own ways, Russia and Germany also could stake a claim to a greater global role. But no one can simultaneously match America's economic, military and moral might, and a more isolationist US could mean a power vacuum. ``There's no country or collection of countries that can do what the US has done for the last half-century,'' said Jon Alterman, a former State Department official now at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. ``It's partly a question of resources and capacity, and it's partly a question of ambition.''
``A huge number of things will simply not be done,'' he said.
While US rivals like China and Russia would relish the opportunity to try to replace the United States, many countries in Asia, Europe and elsewhere are fretting the prospect of an American retreat. Even Germany is unsettled about being increasingly looked to as a moral example.China, which has been investing billions in Africa and Latin America to curry influence in the developing world, could become an increasingly dominant economic power. It already is aggressively pursuing a multicountry trade deal that would appear the likeliest alternative to TPP, a scenario Obama's administration had warned would let China ``write the rules'' and lead to worse labor and environmental standards.
Beijing has used Trump's inauguration as an opportunity to ridicule America's democracy and tout its own communist system as superior. And many of China's neighbors share its fears about Trump's threats to trigger a ``trade war'' with the Asian powerhouse by taxing Chinese products.``Whether you like it or not, the global economy is the big ocean that you cannot escape from,'' Chinese President Xi Jinping said last week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, laying out his plans for growth, overseas investments and expanded trade opportunities. It was the type of agenda the US might have previously touted.

Award does not become the end of life’s purpose

PM presents National Bravery Awards

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today presented the National Bravery Awards to 25 children. Interacting with the awardees, the Prime Minister said their deeds of bravery show their decisiveness as much as their courage. He encouraged the children to ensure that this award does not become the end of their life’s purpose, and added that this award should only mark the beginning for them.
Reminding the children about the significance of the day – 23rd January, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary – the Prime Minister urged the children to read as much as possible, and especially read biographies of leaders, sportspersons and other people who have done great deeds in their lives.
He said that bravery is a state of mind; a healthy body helps, but the prime moving force is the mind. Therefore, he added, we need to make the mind strong. He urged the children to ensure that the adulation and fame that they are getting, should not become an obstacle to their future progress.
The Minister for Women and Child Development, Smt Maneka Gandhi, was present on the occasion. The National Bravery Award Scheme was initiated by the ICCW – Indian Council for Child Welfare – to give due recognition to the children who distinguish themselves by performing outstanding deeds of bravery and meritorious service and to inspire other children to emulate their examples.

Keeping the farmers’ interest foremost in our research programmes: Radha Mohan Singh

Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Mr. Radha Mohan Singh addressed the Plenary Session of 9th Berlin Agriculture Ministers’ Conference at Berlin, Germany today. In his addressed Shri Singh said that keeping the farmers’ interest foremost in our research programmes, there is a need to optimize the resources’ use efficiency.  Mr Singh said that water is certainly the most critical resource for agriculture, gaining primacy even on other important inputs like soil. The competing use of water for agriculture and non-agricultural purposes, inefficient irrigation practices, injudicious use of pesticides, poor conservation infrastructure, and lack of governance have lead to increasing water scarcity and pollution worldwide.
Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare said that though India is among the leading producers of foodgrains in the world but India’s productivity vis-à-vis world average and highest yield (kg/ha) for major crops  cereals, pulses, oilseeds, sugarcane and vegetables remains short of the highest levels achieved elsewhere in the world, except castor an industrial oil crop.  India has highest courage, production and productivity of castor in the world mainly because of hybrid technologies and water use efficiency in castor.  Similarly, in livestock sector also, despite India being the top producer of milk, bovine productivity is only 1538 kg per year as compared to the world average of 2238 kg per year. The low productivity levels also indicate existence of enormous untapped potential. Shri Singh further said that efficiency-mediated improvement in productivity is the most viable option to raise production. Development of new crop varieties with more efficient photosynthesis and shorter duration would be of immense help in increasing cropping intensity.

Anyhow controlled the Tax evasion

India participates in JITSIC meeting

India participated in the Joint International Taskforce on Shared Intelligence and Collaboration (JITSIC) meeting held in Paris on 16th and 17th January 2017 where 30 Revenue Authorities shared their findings on investigations arising from the Panama Papers;  including the role of tax intermediaries  such as financial institutions, advisers  etc, who facilitate tax evasion. The meeting included sharing of best practices and information between participating member countries based on legal instruments under the tax treaties and OECD and Council of Europe Multilateral Convention. The sharing of this information within a group of this size is unique and sets the basis for greater cooperation amongst tax administrations.
Since the last JITSIC meeting of this group, significant achievements have been made including the development of uniform approaches to requesting information between treaty partners, clearer understanding of the evasion typologies adapted by intermediaries, and new techniques for collating intelligence. JITSIC will continue to draw on the best intelligence capabilities from tax authorities around the world and share best practices for data analysis and collaboration on intelligence. The tax administrations will, accordingly, continue to share information under existing legal frameworks for exchange.

Yes we can: Obama

Thank’s letter of Obama

My fellow Americans,
It's a long-standing tradition for the sitting president of the United States to leave a parting letter in the Oval Office for the American elected to take his or her place. It's a letter meant to share what we know, what we've learned, and what small wisdom may help our successor bear the great responsibility that comes with the highest office in our land, and the leadership of the free world.
But before I leave my note for our 45th president, I wanted to say one final thank you for the honor of serving as your 44th. Because all that I've learned in my time in office, I've learned from you. You made me a better President, and you made me a better man.
Throughout these eight years, you have been the source of goodness, resilience, and hope from which I've pulled strength. I've seen neighbors and communities take care of each other during the worst economic crisis of our lifetimes. I have mourned with grieving families searching for answers -- and found grace in a Charleston church.
I've taken heart from the hope of young graduates and our newest military officers. I've seen our scientists help a paralyzed man regain his sense of touch, and wounded warriors once given up for dead walk again. I've seen Americans whose lives have been saved because they finally have access to medical care, and families whose lives have been changed because their marriages are recognized as equal to our own. I've seen the youngest of children remind us through their actions and through their generosity of our obligations to care for refugees, or work for peace, and, above all, to look out for each other.
I've seen you, the American people, in all your decency, determination, good humor, and kindness. And in your daily acts of citizenship, I've seen our future unfolding.
All of us, regardless of party, should throw ourselves into that work -- the joyous work of citizenship. Not just when there's an election, not just when our own narrow interest is at stake, but over the full span of a lifetime. I'll be right there with you every step of the way.
And when the arc of progress seems slow, remember: America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word 'We.' 'We the People.' 'We shall overcome.'
Yes, we can.
