The Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that bring-in greater transparency, ethical corporate behavior and enhanced accountability into our corporate governance system. He was addressing the inaugural session of the 58th National Cost Convention of Institute of Cost Accountants of India, here today.

He further said that talking about the role of professional bodies like ICAI must be in the forefront in the fight against fraud and corruption. You can help bring in greater transparency, ethical corporate behavior and enhanced accountability into our corporate governance system, he added.

The Vice President called on CMA professionals can expedite FDI by effective valuation of assets, liabilities, stocks, properties to facilitate investors to make the right financial decisions and fulfill regulatory obligations. Introduction of GST and the inclusion of anti-profiteering clause in the act, made it mandatory to pass on the benefit of tax reduction or input tax credit to the final customer, he added.

The Vice President said that India is currently reviewing and simplifying laws and procedures and the ease of doing business index has become a popular tool for governments to show that they offer a favorable investment climate for private businessmen. He further said that goal of the youth should be to achieve excellence in their chosen fields and everyone’s aim and goal over the next five years should be to usher in the positive changes that make India an inspiration for other countries. The year 2022 is truly significant as it happens to be the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, he added.

Vice President suggests six possible drivers of income for farmers’ growth

The Minister of State for Law & Justice and Corporate Affairs Mr. P.P. Chaudhary and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
The Vice President said that no true development can be said to be meaningful unless it incorporates the needs of the farming sector. He suggested six possible drivers of income for farmers’ growth, stating that sincere implementation of such measures would double farmers’ income by 2022:
Diversification of farm activities towards high-value crops and enterprises.
Improving irrigation facilities to double productivity. Better price realization for farmers through competitive markets, value chains and improved linkage between field and fork. Improvement in the terms of trade for agriculture. Technology up gradation. Shifting cultivators from farming to non-farm occupations.
The Vice President said that government of India is taking measures to double their income by 2022 adding that food security is one of India’s top policy priorities and doubling of farmers’ real income is the need of the hour.

New App for your security

This App will provide smooth interface between Citizens and Police

The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) celebrated its 33rd Inception Day and released “Citizen Services” Mobile App. Mr. Rajiv Jain, Director, IB was the Chief Guest and Dr. A.P. Maheshwari, DG, BPR&D was the Guest of Honour on this occasion.
NCRB has introduced a Mobile App template, which is a bouquet of 9 police related services, for the citizen.  These services will provide smooth interface between Citizens and Police. States/UTs upon customization can host this App on their CCTNS platform through which citizens can register Police Complaint, and can check the Status of their complaint. Another feature of the App also enables a complainant to download FIR (except those categorized as "Sensitive").

Clicking SOS button of the App, automatically sends an emergency SMS to friends and family with user’s current location. Locate Police Station feature helps a citizen to locate nearby police station details and route to approach using GPS technology. Emergency Contact List provides helpline numbers, which are useful during emergency or regular services like Fire Brigade, Ambulance, Medical Emergency, Women Helpline, Railway Helpline and Child Helpline. Any citizen can anonymously inform Police about any suspicious/anti-social activities using Citizen Tip feature. Using Telephone Directory feature, Citizen can view detail of any police station in a district for particular State. Vahan Samanvay stolen vehicle Registration feature is helpful to the public, Road Transport Authorities, and Insurance agencies, to verify the status of stolen/recovered vehicles, before purchase, re-registration, claim settlement etc.. Talash/ Missing Person (Lost persons Registration) a web link in the App to provide a link to NCRB website displaying missing persons/ unidentified dead bodies and unidentified persons.

The App is developed by in house team of NCRB and as per the compliance of MeitY directions, the Mobile App was tested & certified by CERT-In empanelled Company. The App is being released to States/UTs for utilization at field levels.

मिशन 2019:इंद्रप्रस्थ राज्य के गठन का तानाबाना शुरू

उत्तर प्रदेश का पश्चिमी क्षेत्र, हरियाणा,उत्तरांचल के हिस्से दिल्ली में जाना तय

भाजपा सरकार का तीर एक होगा और निशाने होंगे कई 

नई दिल्ली। ्रइंद्रप्रस्थ राज्य के गठन का ताना-बाना शुरू हो गया है। यदि सब कुछ ठीक रहा तो उत्तर प्रदेश का यह पश्चिम क्षेत्र, उत्तरांचल, हरियाणा और दिल्ली में जाना तय है। दिल्ली को पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा दिए जाने की कवायद शुरू हो चुकी है। दिल्ली को इंद्रप्रस्थ नाम से पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा दिया जाएगा। योजना यदि परवान चढ़ी तो एक तीर से कई निशाने साधे जाएंगी और जिससे पश्चिम में हाईकोर्ट बैंच समेत कई मुद्दे यों ही हल हो जाएंगे। उत्तर प्रदेश देश का हृदय स्थल माना जाता है। यही कारण है कि देश की राजनीतिक के दरवाजे या, यों कहें केंद्र की सत्ता का रास्ता उत्तर प्रदेश से ही होकर गुजरता है। इतिहास भी इस बात का साक्षी है कि देश के प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री पं. जवाहर लाल नेहरू समेत ज्यादातर प्रधानमंत्री उत्तर प्रदेश ने ही तो दिए हैं। यह बात अलग है कि मौजूदा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी गुजरात से हैं मगर केंद्रीय राजनीति में आने से पहले संसदीय क्षेत्र उत्तर प्रदेश के बनारस को ही चुना। किंतु आजादी के इतने वर्षों भी जिस प्रकार उत्तर प्रदेश का विकास होना चाहिए था वास्तव में नही हुआ और यहां पिछड़ापन आज भी नासूर बना हुआ है। उत्तरांचल का गठन हुआ तो वो विकास के रास्ते पर बढ़ चला। उत्तर प्रदेश को फिर चार हिस्सों में बांटने की बात चली किंतु राजनीतिक वर्चस्व के आगे सब कुछ जस का तस ही रहा। यहां बात करते हैं पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश की। पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश से जितना राजस्व राज्य को मिलता है किसी दूसरे हिस्से से उतना नही मिलता। किंतु कैपिटल लखनऊ है, हाईकोटज़् इलाहाबाद है अर्थात पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश को हर चीज के लिए पूर्वी क्षेत्र का मुंह ताकना ही पड़ता है। हाईकोर्ट बैंच पश्चिमी में स्थापित किए जाने की मांग एक लंबे अरसे से की जा रही है और इसके लिए वकील आज भी आंदोलनरत हैं। कोई भी सरकार चाह कर भी हाईकोर्ट बैंच पश्चिमी में लाने के लिए आज तक रूचि नही दिखा पाई है कारण बिल्कुल साफ है कि पूर्वी  क्षेत्र के आगे पश्चिमी क्षेत्र का राजनीतिक कद बौना ही है। अब इन सारी चीजों की एक ही चाबी दिखाई दे रही है, और वह है, दिल्ली का विस्तार कर उसे पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा दिया जाना। सूत्रों की मानें तो इस बात की कवायद शुरू भी हो चुकी है। भाजपा केंद्र के साथ- साथ उत्तर प्रदेश, उत्तरांचल, हरियाणा और राजस्थान में भी सत्ता पर काबिज है। इन कुछ राज्यों के साथ लोकसभा चुनाव भी सिर पर हैं। एक से एक बढ ़कर बैंक घोटाले यानी बैंकों का कर्ज लेकर जिस तरह से माल्या और मोदी बंधु विदेश भाग चुके हैं मोदी सरकार के लिए लोकसभा चुनावों में अग्नि परीक्षा की घड़ी साबित हो सकती है। इसलिए इस ओर से ध्यान हटाने के लिए मोदी सरकार को कुछ नया करना होगा। भाजपा के उच्चपदस्थ सूत्रों की मानें तो इंद्रप्रस्थ राज्य उसी कड़ी का एक हिस्सा माना जा रहा है और जिसका ताना-बाना बुना जाना भी शुरू हो चुका है। राज्य पुर्नगठन आयोग के सूत्रों की मानें तो इस नई योजना को परवान चढ़ाने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश से सहारनपुर को उत्तरांचल में भेजा जाना है। सहारनपुर चूंकि मुस्लिम बाहुल्य क्षेत्र है उत्तरांचल में जाने से सपा को एक करारा झटका लगेगा। वहीं शामली और मुजफ्फरनगर जाट बाहुल्य क्षेत्र हैं यदि यह क्षेत्र हरियाणा में शामिल हो जाएगा तो छोटे चौधरी अजित सिंह की राजनीति पर ग्रहण लगना तय है। अब बात आती है कि मेरठ, गाजियाबाद और गौतमबुद्धनगर की तो इस क्षेत्र को दिल्ली में शामिल किए जाना है। इससे कई फायदे होंगे एक तो हाईकोर्ट बैंच की मांग जो, प्रमुख रूप से यहीं उठ रही है समाप्त हो जाएगी क्योंकि कैपिटल दिल्ली मिल जाएगा जिससे हाईकोर्ट और कई तरह की नई सुविधाएं मिल जाएंगी। यदि दिल्ली का विस्तार इंद्रप्रस्थ राज्य के रूप   में होता है तो फिर बुलंदशहर, बागपत और वहीं हरियाणा से दिल्ली के समीपवतीज़् क्षेत्र फरीदाबाद, गुडगांव, सोनीपत आदि भी शामिल किए जा सकते हैं। इससे दूसरा सबसे बडा फायदा भाजपा को यहहोगा कि मेरठ, गाजियाबाद,गौतमबुद्धनगर और बुलंदशहर जो बसपा का गढ रहा है पूरी तरह से ढह जाएगा। हालांकि मोदी लहर के बाद यह समूचा क्षेत्र आज भी भाजपा के पास है। वहीं दूसरी ओर दिल्ली में अरविंद केजरीवाल की राह मुश्किल हो जाएगी। किंतु इंद्रप्रस्थ राज्य के लिए नकरात्मक पहलू यह है कि हरियाणा से फरीदाबाद और गुडगांव तथा उत्तर प्रदेश से गौतमबुद्धनगर, गाजियाबाद तथा मेरठ यदि चले गए तो फिर विकास का क्या ोित्र रह जाएगा? इन औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों की बदोलत ही तो पूंजीनिवेश की संभावनाएं है। उत्तर प्रदेश में निवेश का जितना माहौल मिला है गौतमगबुद्धनगर, गाजियाबाद के कारण है। चूंकि गौतमबुद्धनगर में जेवर इंटरनेशल एयरपोटज़् बनाया जाना है ऐसे में उत्तर प्रदेश कदापि नही चहेगा कि इस तरह के विकास ोित्र क्षेत्र किसी दूसरे राज्य में चले गए। किंतु यदि इंद्रप्रस्थ राज्य का ताना बाना फाइनल हुआ तो मोदी सरकार के सामने सब बेबस होंगे।

The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, graced and addressed the concluding session of the UP Investors Summit Thursday in Lucknow.  President said that Uttar Pradesh is a state teeming with talented young people. It comprises one of the largest workforces, as well as consumer markets, not only in India but anywhere in the world. It is home to some of India’s finest institutions of higher education, such as IIT Kanpur, IIM Lucknow, Banaras Hindu University, Allahabad University and so many others. This talent pool and this energy give Uttar Pradesh the base to become an economic powerhouse. They make it an irresistible destination for investors.
The President said that the recent period has been one of enormous economic changes for India – of soaring aspirations and achievements. The introduction of the Goods and Services Tax has been a milestone. It has broken down barriers between states. It has provided a boost to the creation of a common market and a more formal economy. Filing of taxes under GST has been made progressively smoother. The switch from cash to digital payments has been notable and has created new opportunities. The simplification of procedures for tax payers, business-persons and investors has led to India making significant advances in Ease of Doing Business. The opening of more and more sectors to greater private and global investment has also drawn appreciation. As a consequence of this, there has been a sharp rise in FDI in the past three years – from US$ 36 billion in 2013-14 to US$ 60 billion in 2016-17.
The President said that  the economic future of India is being written by states and state governments, such as that of Uttar Pradesh.The President said that the Uttar Pradesh government has shown determination in providing a facilitative environment for business and for investors. The ‘Nivesh Mitra’ single-window-portal has made it easier to start an enterprise in the state. The state government has begun implementing the ‘Business Reform Action Plan 2017’ as per the union government's suggestions.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मलयालम अभिनेत्री प्रिया प्रकाश वारियर के खिलाफ सभी एफआईआर पर रोक लगा दी है.। कोर्ट ने किसी राज्य को इस मामले में एफआईआर या कारवाई न करने के आदेश दिए। साथ ही एफआईआर दर्ज कराने वालों को कोर्ट ने नोटिस जारी किया। बता दें, मलयालम फिल्म 'ओरु अदार लवÓ के गाने को लेकर उनके और निदेशक उमर अब्दुल वहाब के खिलाफ तेलंगाना और महाराष्ट्र में दर्ज एफआईआर को रद्द करने की मांग की गई थी.।

ये विवाद फिल्म के गाने 'माणिक्य मलाराया पूवी...Ó को लेकर हुआ, जो कि केरल के मालाबार क्षेत्र का एक पारंपरिक मुस्लिम गीत है। यह गाना पैगम्बर मोहम्मद और उनकी पहली पत्नी खदीजा के बीच प्रेम का वर्णन और प्रशंसा करता है। इस गाने के सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल होने के बाद तेलंगाना, रजा अकादमी और जन जागरण समिति ने मुसलमानों की धार्मिक भावनाओं को कथित तौर पर चोट पहुंचाने के लिए  एफआईआर दर्ज कराई थी। याचिकाकतार्ओंं ने दायर याचिका में कहा है कि तेलंगाना और महाराष्ट्र में गाने की गलत व्याख्या के आधार पर विभिन्न समूहों द्वारा आपराधिक शिकायतें दर्ज की गई हैं और इसी तरह की शिकायतें अन्य गैर-मलयालम भाषी राज्यों में भी दर्ज होने की संभावना है.
इस क्लिप ने प्रिया प्रकाश को रातोंरात बनाया स्टार...Óओरू अदार लवÓ के मेकर्स की ओर से दी गई याचिका में कहा गया है कि इस गीत को मूल रूप से केरल के एक पुराने लोक गीत के तौर पर पीएमए जब्बार द्वारा 1978 में लिखा गया था, जिसे पहली बार थलासेरी रफीक ने पैगम्बर और उनकी पत्नी खदीजा की प्रशंसा में गाया गया था। बिना किसी आधार के यह दावा किया गया है कि यह मुस्लिम समुदाय की धार्मिक भावनाओं को नुकसान पहुंचाता है.। यह समझना मुश्किल है कि पिछले 40 सालों से जो गाना आस्तित्व में है, जिसे मुस्लिमों ने ही लिखा और केरल में मुस्लिम समुदाय की ओर से पोषित हुए इस गीत को अब पैगम्बर और उनकी पत्नी के अपमान के रूप में माना जा रहा है।
 याचिकाकतार्ओं ने कहा है कि युवा अभिनेत्री और उसके परिवार के जीवन के लिए खतरे को देखते हुए एफआईआर और आपराधिक शिकायतें अनुच्छेद 21 के तहत जीने के अधिकार का उल्लंघन है.। ये अनुच्छेद 19(1) (ए) और 19(1) (जी) के तहत अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी का हनन भी है.।

 राहुल गांधी और कांग्रेस के आधिकारिक ट्विटर अकाउंट के बाद अमिताभ बच्चन ने कांग्रेस नेता कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं पूर्व वित्त मंत्री पी. चिदंबरम , कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता कपिल सिब्बल, रणदीप सुरजेवाला, संजय झा, प्रियंका चतुर्वेदी और अजय माकन को ट्विटर पर फॉलो किया। कांग्रेस के कई नेताओं ने उन्हें फॉलो बैक नहीं किया, लेकिन कांग्रेस नेता और पूर्व सूचना प्रसारण मंत्री मनीष तिवारी ने उन्हें धन्यवाद करते हुए उन्हें फॉलो बैक किया । बता दें, गांधी परिवार के साथ बच्चन परिवार को रिश्ता काफी पुराना है। अमिताभ बच्चन कांग्रेस की सीट से यूपी की इलाहबाद सीट से चुनाव भी लड़ चुके हैं। हालांकि बोफोर्स काण्ड के बाद उन्होंने सांसद पद छोडऩा पड़ा था। कहीं 2019 के चुनाव से पहले वह कांग्रेस के और नजदीक आ जाएं।
